A parent that works in the home may not receive an income, but often the work they do would cost a great deal more if they were not around to do it. Have you worked out how much it would cost to hire a replacement child-minder, cook, cleaner, launderer, and driver? The answer is a lot more than you might have thought.
Helping to securing your family’s financial well-being
Many families on a single income simply cannot afford the added cost of childcare. If you’re a stay at home parent, does your family have life insurance in place? We estimate that €37,500 is the yearly value of a mum’s work in the home*. See the infographic we produced which shows mum’s and dad's worth in numbers and how much life cover would be needed to replace all these tasks.
Always seek advice
A qualified financial advisor can assess your needs as a family to make sure you’re adequately covered if the unthinkable happens. They're also there on hand to guide you through the application process.
